My Story – Org Effectiveness Consulting

I have a B.S. degree from U.C., Davis and an MBA from Northwood University.  I started an organizational effectiveness consulting practice after I retired from The Dow Chemical Company because improving organizations gives me joy. Before retiring I worked in research, engineering, manufacturing, information technology, human resources, and change management.  My roles included Associate Director, Change Leader, Six Sigma/Lean Master Black Belt, Senior Organizational Effectiveness Consultant, Program Manager, Project Manager, Global I.T. Availability Manager, Division Process Control Leader, and varying engineer roles.

I served as a team leader for the U.S. Baldrige Performance Excellence Award, a trustee for the State of Michigan’s Quality Award program, and a chair of the California State Quality Award program. I am a certified Six Sigma/Lean Master Black Belt and Black Belt and worked with others to set up a continuous improvement program that led to billions of dollars of EBIT generation. I have enjoyed training and coaching hundreds of practitioners who have made a huge impact in their work environments.

Whether working as a consultant, working for a Fortune 100 company, or for a non-profit, I have been fulfilled guiding global businesses, functions, sites, non-profits, and small businesses in the development and implementation of strategic plans.  I thrive on helping individuals, leaders, and organizations become their best.
